Coercive Control Coaching
Coercive control can affect far more than the relationship itself. Over time, manipulation, intimidation, isolation, criticism, monitoring and psychological pressure can influence the way you see yourself, your choices, your boundaries and even your ability to trust your own thoughts and feelings.
My Coercive Control Coaching is designed to support you in understanding what you have experienced, processing the emotional impact and beginning to rebuild a sense of identity that belongs to you.
Drawing from my own lived experience of childhood and adulthood complex trauma, alongside my background in psychology, CBT, trauma-informed approaches and holistic practice, I offer a compassionate space where you can explore your experiences without judgement.
Together, we can work on:
• Understanding coercive control and its psychological impact
• Recognising unhealthy patterns and behaviours
• Processing experiences and emotions connected to abuse
• Rebuilding your sense of identity and self-worth
• Developing stronger boundaries
• Reconnecting with your own needs, values and intuition
• Rebuilding confidence in your decision-making
• Understanding hypervigilance, fear responses and emotional triggers
• Moving from survival patterns towards empowerment
• Strengthening autonomy and your sense of personal choice
• Exploring the person you are beyond what happened to you
My approach is centred around empowerment and autonomy. You are not defined by what happened to you, and recovery does not have to mean becoming the person you were before. It can mean discovering who you are now, with greater awareness, choice and self-understanding.
I can also incorporate holistic and energetic practices where appropriate, including energy healing and chakra-focused work, for those who wish to explore the relationship between emotional wellbeing, the body and energetic experience.
This service is particularly suited to people who feel they have lost themselves within controlling or abusive relationships, are rebuilding their lives after leaving, or simply want support understanding how coercive experiences have affected their sense of self.
